carpe assembled vs el rafico
This match saw El Rafico look to continue their strong start to the season with another win. Carpe Assembled brought with them a new look team with injuries and key players unavailable so was going to be interesting to see how quickly they could gel.
El Rafico looked to dominate from the off and look much more together and cohesive than Carpe Assembled. Controlling possession and picking the right moments be direct caused many problems and El Rafico saw themselves 3-0 up early on.
When dominating so early, the inevitable happened… El Rafico became complacent and went against their structure and philosophy which gave Carpe Assembled a much needed boost as they were able to be dangerous when going direct and winning many second balls.
Before long, the match was 3-2 by half-time with El Rafico scratching thier heads as to why they were in a close contest at this point.
Second half brought similar events to the first half with El Rafico reganing control of the match and looked to dominate extending their 3 goal lead again with a 5-2 scoreline and loads of time left to play.

SRC VS REGGAE BOYZ
Weather conditions saw another wet and rainy game between SRC and Reggae Boyz which was going to be interesting to see how Reggae Boyz faired.
As you can expect, the ever-dominant Reggae Boyz continue to assert their style of play early on and looked clear to extend their winning ways against a much improved SRC team. SRC were solid, diligent in their defending and were able to cause problems on the counter attack. At 1-1, it was all to play for with 15 minutes to go and Reggae Boyz were truly in their first true battle!
Reggae Boyz remained composed and kept creating chances and were unlucky to extend their lead but with a fantastic hold up play from their striker Dee and turn, swivel shot into the bottom corner, Reggae Boyz restored their lead and managed to hold out 2-1 winners.
