How does the South London League work?
The South London League is an 8-a-side football league based in Streatham Vale.
The league will consist of between 6-10 teams and all teams play each other twice.
Each match is 40 minutes with no half-time. All matches are recorded and no moment is missed so you can look back on your best (and worst!) moments.

How many players can you have on your team?
We ask all teams to have no more than 11 players on match days but your squad can be as big as you want as we understand everyone has other commitments and may not be able to fight alongside their teammate every week.
The fixture list will be shared ahead of the new season to pass to your teammates so everyone can be organised and plan ahead.
Is the pitch big enough for 8-a-side?
We have been running games at Streatham Vale for over a year and have trialled 7 -a-side football games too.
From our experience, expanding the game to an 8-a-side game allows the game to be free-flowing, competitive and remains at a high tempo for the full duration of the game.

How can I join a team?
If you are a player without team, unfortunately we do not manage the teams to know whether there are any spaces.
You will need to find a team who are interested in 7-a-side or 8-a-side football and join the upcoming season.
